Administration monitoring supply of Petrol, Diesel, CNG and LPG; DC Sachin Gupta urges citizens not to believe rumours
The district administration has taken necessary steps to ensure smooth and uninterrupted availability of petrol, diesel, CNG and LPG across Rohtak, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said while reviewing the supply and distribution of petroleum products in the district.
Rohtak, March 12, 2026: The district administration has taken necessary steps to ensure smooth and uninterrupted availability of petrol, diesel, CNG and LPG across Rohtak, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said while reviewing the supply and distribution of petroleum products in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner clarified that sufficient stock of all petroleum products is available in the district and there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, CNG or LPG. He said the administration is closely monitoring supply and distribution so that citizens continue to receive these essential fuels without any inconvenience.
To ensure effective coordination and monitoring, the City Magistrate has been designated as the Nodal Officer to oversee the availability and supply of petroleum products in the district. All Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) have also been directed to keep a close watch on the supply position in their respective areas and ensure smooth distribution.
The Deputy Commissioner said that Oil Marketing Companies, petroleum dealers and LPG distributors have been instructed to maintain adequate stock and ensure uninterrupted supply to consumers. The Food and Supplies Department has also been directed to regularly monitor stock levels, distribution and retail prices.
He further directed that essential institutions such as hospitals, educational institutions and other public service establishments should ensure uninterrupted supply of LPG, PNG and other petroleum products.
DC Sachin Gupta appealed to citizens not to pay attention to rumours or misinformation regarding fuel availability. He said there is adequate supply in the district and people should continue their normal fuel purchases without any concern.
For the convenience of citizens, the district administration has also set up a control room where any issue related to fuel supply or overcharging can be reported. Citizens can contact the control room at 01262-230401.
The Deputy Commissioner added that the district administration will continue to monitor the situation closely and take all necessary steps to ensure smooth supply of essential fuels across the district.
