Chairing a meeting regarding the availability and management of LPG supply at the Mini Secretariat, the Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration is closely monitoring the distribution of domestic and commercial LPG to ensure that all consumers receive timely supply.
He informed that, as per the directions of the Government, a district-level committee has been constituted under his chairmanship to regulate the distribution of commercial LPG cylinders for hospitals, educational institutions and marriage functions. The committee includes the Superintendent of Police, Civil Surgeon and District Education Officer as members, while the District Food and Supplies Controller will serve as Member Secretary.
To ensure effective monitoring, City Magistrate Ankit Kumar has been appointed as the Nodal Officer for LPG distribution and management in the district.
