Actor Sonu Sood inaugurates Prof. Saroj Sood Scholarship at CT University

Ludhiana, June 27, 2022: Prominent social activist and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood visited CT University in order to inaugurate a couple of things to brighten the future of the students.

Chancellor, CT University Charanjit S Channi, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice-Chairman Harpreet Singh, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti welcomed him with the sapling along with his wife Sonali Sood. Sonu Sood interacted with the students who got enrolled in CT University under Prof.  Saroj Sood Scholarship during Covid-19. These are students from all over India who are smart in their studies but are financially weak.

Later, Sonu Sood teamed up Sood Charity Foundation with CT University for free education of needy students from all over India. To fulfill the purpose he inaugurated Prof. Saroj Sood Scholarship in the name of his mother at Admission Branch, CT University. In addition, he also inaugurated Intercell, Innovation on Wheels, Prof. Saroj Sood Book Bank, C-Tech Lab, Incubator Center as well as Pro-Chancellor, CT University, Dr. Manbir Singh's book named 'India's Trade with IORA Nations'.

Chancellor, Charanjit Singh, Dr. Manbir Singh and Dr. Harsh Sadawarti thanked Sonu Sood for taking the time out of his busy schedule and said that CT University is fortunate to collaborate with Sonu Sood, a social thinker and popular actor and will contribute to the welfare of the society through Prof.  Saroj Sood scholarship.
