Actor Aabhaas Mehta Gets Candid About Playing a Cop in ‘Mauka Ya Dhokha’ 

Hungama’s upcoming murder-mystery series ‘Mauka Ya Dhokha’ is headlined by a talented trio of actors that includes the names Himanshu Malhotra, Aabhaas Mehta and Samikssha Batnagar. Directed by Kabir Sadanand and a Frog Unlimited & Big Elephant Pictures production, the show navigates through a huge conspiracy with unexpected curveballs and an even more unpredictable finale. Aabhaas Mehta has been winning the hearts of fans over time with his amazing acting skills and never before seen roles that has always been well-appreciated. From reigning over the TV screens to his entry into the world of web shows, Mauka Ya Dhokha will be Aabhaas Mehta’s second stint with Hungama. Playing the role of a police officer he said “As an actor, we need to find things that are uniquely us - our history, our life that we can bring to the role. In the series, I am portraying the character of ‘Satyajit’ who is a police officer. But there is more than what meets the eye. It takes a great deal of training and strength both physical and mental. My character arcs keep changing at different stages of the show, adding layers of complexity to the narrative.”
