Jalandhar, June 7, 2022: An Orientation programme entitled Aarambh- A New Beginning 2022 for the new entrants of class XI was held by Apeejay School, Rama Mandi , Jalandhar on 6th  June.

After lighting the lamp ceremony and Saraswati Vandana, the new students were given a warm welcome by the Vice Principal Aarti Shorey Bhat.

Gurpreet Kaur, PGT Accountancy gave extensive knowledge about the Curriculum, Weightage and Promotion Policy of class XI as set by CBSE, to the students.

The music teacher Nidhi Sharma's soulful voice echoed in the auditorium as she mesmerized the audience with her song. The Orientation Programme was clubbed up with the Fresher's Fiesta. Many students showcased their Talent with Self-composed Poems, Welcome Speeches, Songs and Dances.

* Raghav Gupta presented a song and a self-composed poem
* Prerna Kaur gave a welcome speech
* Manpreet , Dakshita and Yasmin presented a group song
* Pranjal Kapoor sang a solo song
* Jasraj Kararia played on the guitar 
* Simar presented a vibrant Punjabi Dance
* Sukhmanjot Kaur Mattu gave a thoughtful speech on World Environment Day

Principal Sangeeta Nistandra gave a hearty welcome to all the students and conducted a session for "Mental Well-Being - the Need of the Hour". She guided students to live life fully rather than just pass their life. Her three takeaways included emotional stability, not judging others and completing the task on time. 

Nishu Airy, PGT Economics was the compere for the programme. 

The culmination of the programme was the plantation drive by principal, vice principal, staff and students in the front lawn of the school.  The programme ended with a message to all that we all need to conserve our mother earth for our better future.
