AAP Government indulges into “breach of faith” of people of Punjab: Kalia
Former state president BJP Manoranjan Kalia has said that announcement of 300 units of free electricity per month with a rider if the consumer consumes more than 300 units per month, they will have to pay the full bill amounts to “breach of faith” of people of Punjab.

Jalandhar, April 17, 2022: Former state president BJP Manoranjan Kalia has said that announcement of 300 units of free electricity per month with a rider if the consumer consumes more than 300 units per month, they will have to pay the full bill amounts to “breach of faith” of people of Punjab.
In a statement here today Kalia who is also former Punjab minister added earlier AAP leaders including Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann and Raghav Chadha had promised to charge tariff on only those units consumed over and above 300 free units.
Adding he said Punjab’s AAP Government amounts to betraying what Chief Minister Delhi promised on June 29, 2021. Earlier, it was propagated and promised saying that “this is Kejriwal’s guarantee”. Thus, it amounts to treachery played to the people of Punjab.
Further, Kalia said Kejriwal had also promised the uninterrupted supply of electricity if AAP comes to power. “Now, unannounced power cuts are being imposed in Punjab”, he added.
