AAP Exposes BJP-Congress Collusion in Ludhiana West By-Election

Ludhiana, June 4, 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress of colluding in the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election. In a press conference, AAP Punjab General Secretary Dr. Sunny Ahluwalia, Working President Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi, and PMB Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat highlighted statements of BJP leaders and actions exposing this alliance.

AAP leader pointed to BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa’s recent statement, which has gone viral on social media, where he suggested defeating AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora while endorsing “anyone else.” Ahluwalia remarked, “We have repeatedly said that BJP and Congress are two sides of the same coin. Their collusion is now exposed.”

Shery Kalsi said that this election is a battle of truth versus lies. Honest governance vs dishonesty. “The statements of BJP leaders have stripped away its mask. If they wanted to support Congress, why did they field a candidate at all? Their reluctance to openly back their own candidate speaks volumes about their hidden agenda,” he stated.

Kalsi urged the people of Ludhiana West to recognize the stakes, adding, “This election is about justice and rights. The BJP and Congress have compromised for power, but AAP is committed to the welfare of the people.”

Addressing the media, Dr Sunny Ahluwalia added, “Congress fields tainted candidates like Ashu, who has a history of illegal dealings and exploitation of public properties. How can such individuals bring systemic change? On the other hand, AAP empowers honest individuals from ordinary families, making them MLAs and ministers.”

Highlighting the credentials of AAP’s candidate, Dr. Ahluwalia stated, “Sanjeev Arora is a self-made businessman and a Rajya Sabha MP with a service-oriented approach. He is committed to the progress of Ludhiana’s people, especially its youth and businesses. The opposition cannot digest his growing popularity.”

Harchand Singh Barsat declared, “The BJP-Congress collusion is now exposed. Sirsa’s statement confirms that AAP’s Sanjeev Arora is the frontrunner. Ludhiana’s people are intelligent and will not fall for such tactics. They know the truth about Ashu, BJP, and Akali Dal.”

Barsat lauded AAP’s transformative initiatives in Ludhiana and affirmed, “AAP’s policies and work are a testament to our commitment. The people’s overwhelming support ensures that Sanjeev Arora will win with a significant margin.”

AAP leaders Gurdev Singh Lakhna and spokesperson Raman Chandi were also present at the press conference. They reiterated the party’s focus on honest governance and public service, urging voters to reject divisive politics and support AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora.
