A Tribute Beyond Tears: DAV School Family Honours Late Teacher Vaishali Kaushik with Blood Donation Camp

Jalandhar, May 7, 2026: At DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur an atmosphere of emotion, compassion, and humanity prevailed as the school family organized a grand blood donation camp in the loving memory of the late Vaishali Kaushik, a dedicated and highly creative Hindi teacher who served the institution for more than 20 years. The noble initiative was a heartfelt tribute to an educator who touched countless lives through her inspiring teaching, gentle nature, and unwavering dedication towards her students.
Vaishali Kaushik will always be remembered for her creativity, cheerful personality, and deep commitment to education. Her untimely demise has left the entire school fraternity and the local community in profound grief.
The most touching moment of the event was when her husband, Rajeev Kaushik, along with their son Vinayak Kaushik and daughter Bhavya, visited the school to pay floral tributes to their beloved family member. Demonstrating remarkable courage and commitment to humanity, the family also participated in blood donation, making the occasion even more emotional and meaningful.
Teachers, parents, staff members, alumni, and social workers came forward enthusiastically to donate blood and spread the message of selfless service. The camp witnessed the gracious presence of distinguished members from Hindustan Welfare Blood Donors Club including Viteen Puri, Ajay Aggarwal, Naresh Kohli, Neeraj Bakshi, Ranveer Parmar, and Reena Tangri, Project Director of the organization. Representatives from Balaji Sewa Sangh including President Rinku Pansi, Dr. Bhardwaj, Sanam Bhalla, Bhandaari, and Inder Jeet Bassan also marked their presence and appreciated the noble cause.
Approximately 90 units of blood were collected during the camp, reinforcing the spirit of humanity and social responsibility. Expressing their gratitude, the family of Vaishali Kaushik appreciated the school’s thoughtful initiative and remarked that the event was not merely a programme, but a beautiful effort to keep her memories alive through service to society.
Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir stated that the late teacher’s life was a true inspiration of love, education, and service, and the blood donation camp was a humble attempt to carry forward her noble values.
