A dual-character play Chidiya Ghar staged on the second day of the 11th National Theater Festival in Bathinda

Bathinda, October 3, 2022: This world is a huge zoo, and just like the animals are imprisoned in their cages, human beings are also trapped in the division of different classes, rich-poor, illiterate-educated, etc., thus, they are unable to live their life freely. This theme was expressed through the play Chidiya Ghar presented on the second day of the 11th National Theater Festival being organized by Natyam Punjab in association with North Zone Cultural Center Patiala, Punjab Sangeet Natak Academy, Haryana Kala Parishad, and Sangeet Natak Academy. Director Natyam Punjab, Kirti Kripal, and President Sudarshan Gupta said that it was a presentation by Yuva Theater Jalandhar, under the direction of Dr. Ankur Sharma. This is a dual-character play, in which two-person met in a park lonely and started interacting with each other in an interesting way. On the second day of this 15-day theater festival running at MRSPTU, the former Finance Minister of Punjab Manpreet Singh Badal, was the chief guest, while congratulating the organizers for this wonderful event, he also encouraged youth to engage with art, literature, and culture. On this occasion, Deputy Mayor Bathinda Master Harmander Singh, Urban Congress President Arun Wadhawan, Dr. Ravi Kamboj from Gidarbaha, and social worker Vikas Grover also graced the evening.
