A 2-week long certificate programme on “Cyber Security and Digital Forensics” commences at Sharda University

Sharda University Greater Noida's Center for Cyber Security and Cryptology is hosting a two-week certificate programme on "Cyber Security and Digital Forensics" from January 2nd to 13th, 2023, in hybrid mode, with over 100 participants. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Shir Kant, Head, Center for Cyber Security and Cryptology, Sharda University.
Prof. Triveni Singh, IPS, SP, Cyber Crime at Uttar Pradesh Police, gave several astonishing examples about the modus operandi of modern cyber criminals. He is popularly known as "Cybercop." He also shared new techniques and approaches used to combat security threats from the 'dark web’.
Dr. Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor, Sharda University, shared his thoughts and "emphasized the need for quick adaptability and handling modern challenges as the landscape changes and expands its surface." "New challenges require new innovative solutions to counter them." This certificate course will be very enlightening for the participants, which will help them in the future as well.   
Welcoming the guest, Prof. Bhuvnesh Kumar, Dean Research Sharda University; said, "We feel privileged to have such professional speakers with us. In today’s time, technology is reaching every single field; therefore, cyber security has become important. He also emphasised the need for and importance of cyber security, citing several examples and the revenue losses and disruptions that normal life has faced".
Samir Datt, Founder of Forensicsguru.com, was the program's chief guest and keynote speaker.He gave a very broad view of modern trends in cyber security, challenges, and modern hardware tools and techniques in use.
The post-inauguration session was taken by Dr. Lalit Gupta, Founder & CEO Skillusions, who shared detailed information on Data Privacy, Risk and Compliance, Governance, and Security Models.
