9th Edition of Dharamshala International Film Festival announces first ten films and other highlights

Dharamshala: Due to the continuing seriousness of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 9th edition of the Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) will go online from 29 October to 4 November 2020. DIFF is the first major film festival in India to launch a digital edition.

9th Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) will be held online from 29 October to 4 November 2020. The press release said that conversations, panels, master classes and workshops with filmmakers and industry professionals are also  to go online.

Deepthi Pendurty Festival Manager said, “DIFF is happy to announce its initial lineup of six feature documentaries and four narrative features.”

The Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) is an international film festival showcasing the best of recent Indian and world cinema, including fiction, documentaries and shorts. DIFF debuted on 1 to 4 November 2012 in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala, India. The festival was conceptualized by filmmakers Ritu Sarin and Tenzing Sonam of White Crane Films as a means of bringing quality contemporary, independent cinema to the culturally diverse location of Dharamshala.
