Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that the first Class XII examination conducted today by the Haryana Board of School Education was completed peacefully, transparently and without any untoward incident, under robust administrative and security arrangements put in place by the district administration.

Rohtak, February 25, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that the first Class XII examination conducted today by the Haryana Board of School Education was completed peacefully, transparently and without any untoward incident, under robust administrative and security arrangements put in place by the district administration.

He said that comprehensive preparations were made in advance to ensure the smooth and malpractice-free conduct of the examinations. As part of these measures, seven flying squads were constituted, duty magistrates were deployed at examination centers, and an adequate police force was stationed to maintain law and order.

According to official data, 9,677 students appeared in today’s Class XII examination out of 9,847 registered candidates, while 170 students remained absent.

The Deputy Commissioner, along with Superintendent of Police Surender Singh Bhoria and ADC Narender Kumar, personally visited several examination centers during the examination period to review arrangements and ensure strict compliance with prescribed guidelines. Necessary instructions were issued on the spot to further strengthen vigilance and coordination.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that:

• Class XII examinations are being conducted from February 25 to April 1, 2026

• Class X examinations will be held from February 26 to March 20, 2026

• D.El.Ed. Examinations are scheduled from February 25 to March 20, 2026

To ensure continuous monitoring, a District Control Room has been established at the office of the District Education Officer. The control room is manned by principal-level officers and supporting staff, and can be contacted at 01262-271871 for any examination-related assistance or reporting.

The Deputy Commissioner said that a total of 45 examination centres have been set up across the district. To ensure transparency and prevent unfair practices, seven flying squads comprising HCS officers and DSP-rank police officers have been deployed. These squads are conducting regular inspections of allotted centers during examination hours, in addition to continuous police patrolling.

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the district administration remains fully committed to conducting all remaining board examinations in a disciplined, fair and stress-free environment, ensuring that students can appear for their exams with confidence and peace of mind.
