9 Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Students of DAVIET Selected in Multinational Giant “Haier Appliances Ltd” 

9 Electrical and Mechanical Engineering students of DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology (DAVIET), Jalandhar, who will be graduating in July 2022, were selected for Multinational Giant Haier Appliances Ltd at a Salary Package of 3.25 LPA.

Jalandhar, July 8, 2022: 9 Electrical and Mechanical Engineering students of DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology (DAVIET), Jalandhar, who will be graduating in July 2022, were selected for Multinational Giant Haier Appliances Ltd at a Salary Package of 3.25 LPA.

Haier Appliances Ltd is a Chinese multinational home appliances and consumer electronics company headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong. It designs, develops, manufactures and sells products including refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, dryers, microwave ovens, mobile phones, computers, and televisions. The home appliances business, namely Haier Smart Home, has seven global brands – Haier, Casarte, Leader, GE Appliances, Fisher & Paykel, Aqua and Candy.    

The company has selected the students after rigorous rounds comprising Written Test, Technical and HR Interviews.
While giving the offer details, the ecstatic student shared that his designation in the company would be Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) and their responsibility will be to work in Production, Design & Development and Quality Assurance department.

The selected students are Pankaj Kumar,Amit,Sunil,Pawan Kumar,Ankit Uppal,Devesh Sharma,Kaushal Yadav,Sanjay Kumar and Manisha Lenga had shared that they were mindful of the tough competition and started preparing early. In addition to the core engineering skills they also brushed up their soft skills. 
  
Dr Manoj Kumar, Principal DAVIET, congratulated the students on their success. He wished them the best of luck in all their future endeavours’. He highlighted that DAVIETians has always been passionate about placements, and special efforts are made to make them industry-ready. He stated that the success of selected students stands for the hard work and commitment of DAV administration to provide its students with the best possible exposure to make a mark for themselves. He also congratulated the Department of Training and Placement and the Faculty, who guided the students and urged them to keep up the excellent work.
