80% Youth Qualify in Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, said that it is a matter of pride for Rohtak district and neighbouring districts that 80 per cent of the youth qualified in the recently concluded Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally.
Rohtak, December 15, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, said that it is a matter of pride for Rohtak district and neighbouring districts that 80 per cent of the youth qualified in the recently concluded Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally.
The Deputy Commissioner was interacting with the media at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium, Rohtak, on the concluding day of the recruitment rally organised by the Army Recruiting Office, Rohtak, from December 10 to 15, for candidates from Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonipat and Panipat districts.
DC Sachin Gupta informed that around 2,000 youth from the four districts participated in the rally, out of which 80 per cent were selected for the next stage of the recruitment process. He explained that in the first phase of Agniveer recruitment, candidates qualify through an online written examination, followed by physical tests, measurements, documentation and medical examination in the second phase.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the Army Recruiting Office staff for conducting the recruitment process in a transparent, disciplined and peaceful manner. He also felicitated Army officers and staff members for their commendable service and efficient conduct of the rally.
Those honoured included Risaldar Ratanlal Saini (12 Armoured Regiment), Subedar Major M. Campe Goda, Havildar Vinay Kumar, LDC/Clerk Manpreet Singh, LDC Sunil Panwar and Cook Himmat Singh. Director, Army Recruiting Office, Rohtak, Colonel Anurag Singh presented a memento to Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta and Colonel Sujay B. Tambe.
On the occasion, Secretary, District Sainik Board Wing Commander Gaurika Suhag, SDM Meham Mukund Tanwar, Subedar Major Narendra, and other officers were present.
