26th Convocation at Karunya on July 9

Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed to  be University) is hosting the 26th  convocation at 2 p.m. on 9th July 2022  at the Dr.DGS Dhinakaran Centre in the Institute campus.  S.Somanath, Chairman, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) & Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Space will be the Chief Guest and deliver the convocation address. Dr.Paul Dhinakaran, Chancellor, Karunya Deemed University will preside over the convocation and distribute the certificates to the graduates. 1691 students who have successfully completed B.Tech, MBA, B.Com, B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons) Horticulture, M.A., M.Sc., M.Tech, & Ph.D will receive the degrees.  Four Best outgoing students will be honored with Chancellor's Award.

On this occasion, KITS will be honouring  S.Somanath, Chairman, ISRO and Prof. Colin Price, Head of the Environmental Studies Department, The Porter School of  the Environment and Earth Sciences, Tel Aviv University, Israel will be conferred the Degree of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa).

The Vice Chancellor Dr.P.Mannar Jawahar, Pro Vice Chancellor (Strategy & Operations)  Dr. E.J.James and  PVC (QS) Dr. Ridling Margaret Waller and   Registrar Dr. R. Elijah Blessing are pivotal for the grand finale.
