1,700 students to participate in Mass PT Show at Rohtak Republic Day Celebration: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that on 26 January, the 77th Republic Day District-Level Ceremony will be organized at the local Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, where Haryana Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma will hoist the national flag.

Rohtak, January 25, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that on 26 January, the 77th Republic Day District-Level Ceremony will be organized at the local Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, where Haryana Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma will hoist the national flag.
Prior to the ceremony, the Cooperation Minister will pay floral tributes to martyrs at the State-Level War Memorial located at MDU, Rohtak.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the grand ceremony. Eight parade contingents will participate in an impressive march-past. The Chief Guest, Dr. Arvind Sharma, who also holds portfolios of Cooperation, Prisons, Election, Heritage and Tourism, will honor freedom fighters and families of martyrs on this occasion.
DC Sachin Gupta further informed that 1,700 students from various schools will participate in the Mass Physical Training display. Cultural programs will include Mallakhamb performance by Ladhot Gurukul students, group dances by Model School and Jade Global School, Punjabi Gidda based on Baisakhi by Swami Nityanand Public School, dance and gymnastics by Pathania Public School, Haryanvi folk dance by PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Model Town, and Surya Namaskar presentation by the AYUSH Department.
The ceremony will conclude with the National Anthem presented by Model School students.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that apart from the district-level function, Sub-Divisional Republic Day ceremonies will also be organized on 26 January at Sampla and Meham. In Meham, Charkhi Dadri MLA Sunil Satpal Sangwan and In Sampla, Zila Parishad Chairperson Manju Hooda will preside over as Chief Guest.
