CT University’s Santa showers warmness in slums


Ludhiana, December 24, 2017: On the eve of Christmas, CT University’s staff and students joined hands towards a warmer winter for the poor people. The staff and students donated warm clothes, food items, quilts, etc. to the people living in the slums of Mullanpur on the auspicious occasion of Jesus Christ’s birthday.

The CTU Santa distributed sweets to the poor kids and played around. The children were also given old clothes and warm socks to wear. On Christ’s birthday Pro Vice-Chancellor, CT University, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti said, “Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. The real happiness comes by bringing smiles on the face of children. CT University is always active in helping the poor. Such charitable events would be organised time to time and we will ensure to reach the ones who actually deserve.”

The slum areas are prone to chill of winter season, keeping that in mind CTU went all the way to donate for them and reached to provide the basic warm material for the poor. “CTU is a name where we ensure education and moral values. By organizing such charitable events, we make students learn to have a life where they donate the deserving people. Charity begins at home and we at CTU are always there to donate for the poor.
