Zindagi Live Foundation organises blood donation camp to celebrate Republic Day

Zindagi Live Foundation organising blood donation camp at Ludhiana on Sunday, to celebrate Republic Day.

Ludhiana, January 26, 2014: Team Zindagi Live Foundation saluted India’s 65th Republic Day by organising  its 30th voluntary blood donation camp  at Pindi Dyal Dharamshala, near Kailash Chowk. A total of 412 units of blood were collected by teams of doctors from Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Christian Medical College & Hospital and Civil Hospital. The camp was inaugurated by Shunya Prabhu ji Maharaj from Shani Gaon Phillaur by donating his holy blood. Lucky Sai graced the occasion and prayed for all the children suffering from Thalaseemia.  

On the occasion, tributes were paid to Subhash Goyal(Kala Shahji) who worked all his life for the upliftment of the under privileged.   The enthusiasm of women was also clear  as many women donated blood. Komal Bansal donated blood for the first time on her birthday and dedicated her  blood to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence of our nation. Baldev Krishan was very happy to have  donated blood on his birthday.

On the event, Yogesh Gupta, General Secretary of the foundation informed that this was team Zindagi Live’s  30th camp and with this camp Zindagi Live Foundation has donated more than 3,900 units of blood to different hospitals in Ludhiana. Their foundation was working day and  night   to make the patients suffering from Thalasaemmia more lively. The foundation is sponsoring the transfusion of 98 children and meeting their costs of transfusion, medicines and filters with the help of generous donations from the society.

Ashok Marwaha, Chairman of the Foundation said their foundation is also working to create awareness of this dreaded malfunction of the human body and shall be holding  a rally very shortly.   Praveen Sony Bakshi, president of Zindagi Live Foundation urged the state government to provide for screening in colleges besides special funds for eradication of this alarmingly increasing disorder.
Simarjeet Singh Bains, MLA motivated the donors by being present at the camp. Madan Lal Bagga, Chairman Punjab Trader Board, as always personally blessed the donors. Maharaj Singh Raji, Sumit Malhotra, councillors  donated blood and  promised their full support to the foundation on this remarkable performance.

Baljinder Sandhu from International Public School, Anil Sareen, BJP, P.K.Gill, Vice President, PCTE group, Balram Mehta, Rajesh Kapoor, Rinku Jassal, Arun Kumar, Vimal Kapoor, Sachin Kapoor, Harish Sharma, Nitin Walia Rakesh Kapoor, Urinder Singh, Aman Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, Mayank Kapoor, P.P.
