Mumbai, August 3, 2025: Zee Studios, the Movies Business Vertical of leading Content and Technology powerhouse ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (‘Z’) has made the Nation proud by bagging 6 awards at the 71st National Film Awards. The recognition further strengthens Zee Studios’ commitment to present impactful stories across diverse languages that engage and inspire audiences across the globe.
The National Film Awards are among the most prestigious film honors in India, established in 1954 by the Government of India to celebrate excellence in Indian cinema. Organized annually by the Directorate of Film Festivals under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these awards recognize outstanding achievements across various regional languages and categories in feature films, non-feature films, and film writing.
· Best Actress Lead Role award was bagged by Rani Mukherji for her
performance in Mrs. Chatterjee V/s Norway, a film produced by Zee Studios
· Best Children’s Film award was bagged by Naal 2, a Marathi film produced by Zee Studios
· Naal 2 also bagged Best Child Artist award for the brilliant performances of Treesha Thosar, Shrinivas Pokale and Bhargav Jagtap
· Best Dialogue award was bagged by Deepak Kingrani for Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, a film produced by Zee Studios
· Best Debut Film award was bagged by the Film, Aatmapamphlet, produced by Zee Studios
· Best Punjabi Feature Film award was bagged by Godday Godday Chaa, a film produced by Zee Studios
12th Fail, a film that was distributed by Zee Studios bagged 2 prestigious awards:
· Best Feature Film and Best Actor Lead Role – Vikrant Massey
The announcement was made by Ashutosh Gowariker (Feature Film Jury Chairperson), P. Sheshadri (Non-Feature Film Jury Chairperson), and Dr. Ajay Nagabhushan MN, Joint Secretary (Films), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Mattu J. P. Singh, Director General, PIB, was also present on the occasion.
