Youth4Impact launches in Bengaluru; 600 young people to be nurtured as future leaders

Bengaluru, September 21, 2026: Youth4Impact, a national youth leadership development programme, was launched in Bengaluru today at PES University, in the presence of hundreds of students, marking the first city launch of the initiative across India. Jagriti Yatra and AIESEC in India announced the Bengaluru chapter, which will engage 600 young people through a structured leadership journey designed to build capability, empathy and perspective through learning and meaningful community exposure.
Announced by Jagriti Yatra and AIESEC in India, Youth4Impact is being undertaken with the support of Reliance Foundation and Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL).
At the heart of Youth4Impact is the belief that leadership is shaped not only by knowledge and professional capability, but also by an understanding of people, communities and the realities around them.
Participants will undergo leadership development and expert-led learning across four focus areas — Education, Career Readiness, Environment Action and Special Care Communities — before taking that learning into real community settings through structured volunteering and engagement.
The programme seeks to take young people beyond familiar environments and expose them to different communities and perspectives. Through these experiences, participants will have opportunities to develop empathy, collaboration, responsibility and a more grounded understanding of the challenges and opportunities around them.
Rather than expecting young people to solve complex social challenges, Youth4Impact aims to give them the exposure and perspective that can shape how they approach such challenges in the future — as professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, public servants, business leaders and institution-builders.

Applications for Youth4Impact are open until 24 September 2026 for students aged 18 years and above across Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Surat, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Delhi. Participants completing the programme will also have access to internship opportunities.

Following Bengaluru, Youth4Impact will be rolled out across the other six cities, bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds through a common leadership-development journey.
The programme will also recognise participants who demonstrate outstanding leadership during the journey. Twenty selected participants from across Youth4Impact will join Jagriti Yatra 2026, giving them an opportunity to further their experiential learning through exposure to leaders, institutions and ideas from across India.
Through Youth4Impact, Jagriti Yatra and AIESEC in India, with the support of Reliance Foundation and RCPL, seek to nurture a generation of young leaders who are informed by experience, grounded in empathy and better prepared to contribute meaningfully to India’s future.
