Youth with 16 fractures after accident gets a new lease of life at Ojas

Panchkula: An accident victim with multiple trauma got a new lease of life after successful surgery at OJAS Super Speciality Hospital, Panchkula.
The accident victim from Mankeya village in Panchkula district was admitted at Ojas on June 4 after involving in a fatal road accident.
He was operated and treated by the hospital’s trauma team including Dr Suresh Singla, director of orthopaedics, Dr Chetan Goel, head of critical care & anaesthesia and Dr Sunny Virdi, chest specialist at Ojas.
The accident victim was brought to Ojas with multiple fractures and difficulty in breathing. His CT and radiological investigations revealed 7 major fractures, 8 Ribs fractures, and other fracture involving spine, nose and other regions of the body along with cuts, bruises and injuries on head and face, informed Dr Singla
He was discharged from hospital today after recovering well post-surgery.
