Ferozepur: One person identified as Chetan Doomra (35), a resident of the city area was killed by few unidentified assailants during an incident which took place yesterday night. As per information available, Chetan was coming back to his residence after dropping after dropping her aunt in the city area along with his wife and kids on his car. While coming back when he reached near to his house few unidentified assailants who were driving a car, fired 12 rounds on them.
Chetan was hit by one of the bullets due to which he was severely injured. He was admitted at a local hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Manoj Kumar, SHO City said that police is checking the CCTV footage. “Very soon the accused will be nabbed”, he added.
A pall of gloom descended the entire area as soon as the news was spread. Notably, Chetan was a renowned wholesale dealer of fruits and vegetables.
