World Immunization Day observed

Ludhiana, April 27, 2022: Department of Child Health Nursing at DMCH College of Nursing, Malakpur  celebrated the World Immunization Day  today under the theme “Long Life for All”.

The event started with a welcome Address by B.Sc. Nursing 3rd year students. Dr. Triza Jiwan, Principal, DMCH College of Nursing emphasized on the importance of immunization. In his address Dr Triza Jiwan said that, aim of this day is to make people aware about the need of life saving vaccines which can prevent them from number of diseases throughout their life.
Secretary, DMCH Managing Society Sh Prem Kumar Gupta congratulated the Department of Child Health Nursing for organizing this event.

Unfolding of theme was done by Mrs. Sumeet Jassal, Assistant Professor, in which she shared key points related to vaccination for all the age groups.

A  Quiz competition was also conducted for B.Sc. 3rd year Nursing and a role play on Immunization was also presented by the students to create the value about the various life saving vaccines and immunization.

Winning teams  awarded  with the prize.  1st prize in poster competition was bagged by Ripanpreet and quiz competition won by Navreet, Chahat, Armaan Kaur and Nikita Verma. At the end vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Navdeep Kaur, Nursing tutor. On the whole this event enlightened the value of immunization.
