World Happiness Day Celebrated with Special Children at CGC Landran

Differently Able and Orphan Children Celebrating World Happiness Day at CGC Landran.

With an effort to spread happiness among the lives of Children who face hardships in their lives, Students of CGC Landran welcomed over 100 differently able , orphan & needy children to their campus and greeted them with goodies & games on the occasion of International Happiness Day 2019 . Children from Apne Foundation, Joyti Saroop Institute, Astha School, Ashiana Children's Home were seen enjoying the magic show, tattoo making and Musical melody concert by the Team of Mirchi 98.3.
‘Happier Together’, theme for International Happiness Day 2019 was notable with the presence of 9 year old Twins Aahan and Aarav. Aahan is facing cerebral Palsy; a condition marked by impaired muscle coordination while Aarav is free from the damage and accompanied his brother to celebrations at CGC Landran. Kajal, a BA LLB 3rd year student and a resident at Jyoti swaroop institute for orphan students said, “I am swollen with pride to be what I am as the love, care and affection which I have received today is beyond imagination”.
While talking to the children present at the campus of CGC Landran we also came across, Akshay Mathur aged 20 from Astha School, Mohali facing an autistic disorder. His swift responses and love for singing was a message in itself which was further complemented by a 15-minute long musical melody by Mirchi 98.3 RJ Abhi & RJ Manisha.
Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman CGC and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC advised the children to always remain happy and joyful and called it a mandatory therapy which needs to be taken up without any stress.
