Mohali, June 5, 2023: To mark World Environment Day, a cleanliness drive was launched by Max Hospital, Mohali in association with Mohali Municipal Corporation at phase 7 market on Monday.
During the occasion, Mohali MC Commissioner Navjot Kaur along with Joint Commissioner exhorted the need of cleanliness around our surroundings.
Navjot Kaur said that awareness in terms of instructions, demonstration and drives needs to be provided to certify that these means become part of a nationwide mind, at household and outside.
She also planted a tree at the market.
Max Hospital staff along with volunteers from The Pursuit Magazine NGO carried out the cleanliness drive at the market .
“By launching the drive, we want to do our bit in the cleaning exercise. While ensuring best hygiene inside the hospital it is also equally important for us to spread the word in our periphery,” said Dr Ankush Mehta GM Operations from Max Hospital Mohali.
During the occasion, a workshop on making something out of waste was also conducted by Sahista Rani.
