World Environment Day celebrated by PU Departments

Chandigarh: The Interdisciplinary Centre for Swami Vivekananda Studies today celebrated World Environment Day by planting saplings in pots keeping social distancing. The staff also carried out a cleanliness drive and got the premises sanitized twice to keep clean and hygienic, informed Prof. Renu Thakur,ICSVS

Similarly Music Department also planted chandni to celebrate World Environment Day, informed, Prof Neelam Paul, Chairperson.

Department of Laws also observed the world environment day while maintaining social distancing. Chairperson Prof. Meenu Paul .Mrs. Neelam Assistant Registrar, Mr. Anil, in charge library and other members of the staff were also present. In the time of Covid-19 world environment day has its own significance and must be observed even in a small way, said Prof. Meenu Paul.
