After Chandigarh we will be taking the WEF to Moga on May 8, Bathinda on May 9 & Sri Ganganagar on 10th of May.” Said Rahul Paitka, MD, Charms Education.

US Universities like Point Park & West Virginia State were present. Switzerland which is the World’s most sought after tourist destination was an attraction at the fair, as it showcased innovative Hospitality programmes. Singapore presented itself as a pathway to countries like USA, Australia & Canada and that too at costs which are 1/3rd of academic costs in these countries. Canada was represented by 21 Colleges & Universities. New Zealand, Australia & UK also participated.

Mr. John Evans, a seasoned Expert of higher education in USA for the past 23 years & who is also Representative of Point Park University, Pittsburgh & West Virginia State University held a special information session on Academic Merit Scholarships. “Large volumes of students still appreciate the high quality of education offered by US Universities, along with the opportunities to access practical experience with major US companies via Curricula Practical Training and Optional Practical Training Programs.” Said John Evans.

Mr. Manish Paitka, CEO, Charms Education which has been designated to provide Student Visa Consultancy for German Colleges & Universities held a session on Free Education in Germany, “Germany’s Universities are offering free education to foreign students. The Pre-condition is that one has to learn the German language & meeting academic requirements as per University norms. The population of Germany is decreasing & Universities expect to have 30% less students by 2030. This has prompted the government there to take the free education route.” Explained Mr. Manish Paitka.

“I got an opportunity to interact with International Recruitment heads from colleges of different countries. This gave me an insight into courses being offered by front-running Global Education providers from different Nations. Now I am in a better position to decide on which college, course & country to choose.” Said Saloni, a prospective student who visited the WEF.

At the education fair student admission and visa processing queries were answered. The main courses that were in demand were Engineering, IT, Data Analytics, Hospitality , Business Finance etc. Some special offers were made to students enrolling for July/September 2017 & January 2018 intake. Many Colleges offered application fee waiver & on the spot admissions.
