World Consumer Rights Day marked at GCG

Ludhiana, March 16, 2022: Opening Ceremony of planning forum and consumer forum of Govt. College for Girls, Ludhiana held on 15 March, to mark ' World Consumer Rights Day'. The chief guest of the ceremony was Principal, Mrs. Kirpal Kaur. 

The ceremony was commenced by President of consumer forum Ishita Sharma and President of Planning forum Shanaya Chaudhary who presented PPT on Ukranian crisis and on rights and duties of consumers. Planning forum organized the Declamation competition while consumer forum organized the Cartoon making competition. 

Both events drew tremendous participation from the students. The audience was also given the opportunity to provide feedback or demonstrate their abilities. Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, from Home Science department judged the declamation competition and Mr. Parveen Kumar from the Dept. of Fine Arts judged the cartoon making competition. Mr. Gurmeet Singh from the Dept. of Economics proposed vote of thanks and motivated students to take part in future activities. Mrs. Reena Chopra and Mrs. Neetu Verma from the Dept. of Economics were also present.
