Chandigarh, June 14, 2026: Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon participated in a blood donation camp organized by the Youth Welfare Club, Darhwa, Chandigarh, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from voluntary blood donors and also featured free health check-ups and eye screening facilities for the public. Tandon lauded the spirit of service displayed by the donors and commended the efforts of the organizers, doctors, and volunteers involved in the initiative.
During the event, Tandon encouraged the donors and presented them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their noble contribution. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who donated blood and helped make the camp a success.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Tandon said, “Blood donation is one of the greatest acts of service to humanity. A single unit of donated blood has the potential to save a precious life and offer hope to those in critical need. It is a noble gift that directly contributes to the well-being of society.”
Emphasizing the need for greater awareness, he added, “We must continue to encourage more people, especially the youth, to come forward and participate in voluntary blood donation. Creating awareness about the importance of regular blood donation is essential to ensuring that lifesaving blood is available whenever required.”
