Chandigarh, October 16, 2015: University institute of Hotel and Tourism Management (UIHTM), Panjab University (PU) Former Director, Prof. R.K. Gupta inaugurated the two days long workshop on the travel photography at UIHTM.
This workshop is being organized in association with ‘Frameboxx’. At this occasion Prof.Gupta appreciated the efforts of UIHTM in the capacity building of professional skills of students. Prof. Gupta also shared his experience with travel photography.
This workshop is accurate for beginner level photographers, those who have lately acquired a D-SLR or multi-megapixel smart phone camera. The workshop will be an ultimate guide to learn about the basic settings of your camera. It will give a fair
understanding of digital photography, camera operations and handling techniques, informed Coordinator of the workshop Dr. Arun Singh Thakur.
The chief resource person for the workshop is Mr. Nipun, who has made students understand the intricacies of photography techniques. He discussed the six rules of photography with the students. These rules are rule of intersection, odds, space,
diagonal, viewpoint and horizon line rule.
In the second part of the day Mr. Nipun made students understand the tricks of photography in outdoors. In this session all the participants were taken to the Botanical Garden and there students tested their skills with outdoor photography.
