Workshop on tally in a Jalandhar college

Jalandhar, August 26, 2019: Keeping with the trend, Placement Cell & PG Department of Commerce & Business Administration, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized a One Day Workshop on Tally in collaboration with Tally Institute of Learning.
The resource persons were Manjit Singh, Partner North, Tally Institute of Learning, Vijay Kumar, Regional Manager, Tally Solution Pvt Ltd and Ridhima, Tally Technical Trainer.
The session was commenced by Vijay who highlighted that every 7th job in the country is an Accounting/Finance job and small & medium businesses create 1.3 million jobs annually, therefore, the knowledge of Tally gives an edge to the students while appearing for the interviews. Mr Manjit threw light on various types of Tally courses available like Tally Ace, Tally Pro, Tally GST, Tally Guru etc.
Ridhima conducted a small hands on activity with the students. The entire session was very knowledgeable, interactive and effective for the students. Mrs Suman Khurana thanked the resource persons for their valuable inputs on this latest upcoming subject and also for conducting the online exam of Tally for 298 students on the campus of the college without imposing any financial burden on them.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such events supplement the classroom learning with the practical exposure, thereby enhancing the employability skills of the students in this competitive world. She lauded the efforts of Suman Khurana, Dr Neeraj Maini and Dr Sabina Batra for organizing such events. She also honoured Gurpreet, Ekta from B.Com Honours and Rashi from BBA for their outstanding performance in this Exam.
