Workshop on skin care and analysis

Jalandhar, August 12, 2019: The Department of Fashion Makeovers at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a workshop based on ‘Skin Care and Analysis’ for the students of Fashion makeovers and B.Voc (Beauty & Wellness).

The resource person was Sonam, an expert from the named company Aroma Magic. During the workshop, the expert interacted with students about skin types and the usage of products as per its requirement and skin type to strike a balance between the both. She talked about the various range of beauty products like cleanser, toner, scrubs, facial kits and more which can be used according to skin type and skin problems like – acne, pigmentation and more. She also talked of various essential oils that can be used during facial therapies and cleansing for glow and smooth skin. In all, it was an interactive session where students learnt the details of their field as per the demand in society.

Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma opined that workshop are one of the important aspects of academic teaching for it enhances their theoretical knowledge and when an expert from the industry itself comes and talks of the varied demand in the society, it adds cherry on the cake. She congratulated Meenal Sandhu, HOD, Fashion Makeovers for successfully organizing the workshop.
