Chandigarh March 1, 2023: Centre for Public Health conducted a workshop on “Public Health awareness, early identification and emergency management stroke and choking” held today at Senate Hall, Administrative Block, Panjab University, Chandigarh under the guidance and direction of Dr. Savita Prashar, Coordinator, Centre for Public Health and Dr. Manoj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Centre for Public Health.
The inaugural address was delivered by Dr.Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar, Panjab University.
The staff of the Administration Block also attended the workshop. Lecture was delivered by Dr. Sunny Khajuria and Gurdeep Singh, MPH 2nd Year students. Live demonstrations were given on how to perform CPR and what to do when a person suffers choking. There were also hands on training for the participants.
