Workshop on guidance and counselling held

Ludhiana, August 29, 2022: Department of Nursing education and M.Sc. nursing students organized a workshop on “Guidance and Counselling” in the DMCH, College of Nursing, Malakpur, Ludhiana for the B.Sc. Nursing 2nd year students under the able guidance of Dr. Mrs. Triza Jiwan, Principal, College of Nursing, Prof. Nidhi Sagar, Vice principal and Meenakshi, Associate Professor.

The workshop started with lamp lighting ceremony followed by the words of wisdom by Prof. Nidhi Sagar. Meenakshi, associate professor shared her views about guidance and counseling. 

In his message, Prem Kumar Gupta, Secretary DMCH Managing Society lauded the efforts of College of Nursing for conducting this workshop.

The topics like concept, principles & needs of guidance & counselling, its services, techniques, professional preparation, problems in counselling were discussed by M.Sc. nursing students. There was a role play by B.sc. Nursing 2nd year students on the theme.

The workshop was concluded with valedictory session and feedback by the participants. Overall, it was very informative and learning experience.
