Workshop on Grooming and Makeup techniques organised in Home Science College

Chandigarh, March 2, 2024: Government Home Science College, Sector 10, Chandigarh organized live demonstration cum workshop on grooming and makeup techniques aimed at enhancing student's grooming skills. The workshop focused on grooming and makeup techniques, providing valuable insights into the world of cosmetics and beauty. 

Renowned makeup artist, Nilofer Khan, who is also the co-owner of a unisex salon Stylo in Sector 17, Chandigarh, conducted a live demonstration during the event. With a wealth of experience, Khan showcased various tips and tricks for effective makeup application. She emphasized the importance of color theory and blending techniques, highlighting how these aspects can significantly enhance one's makeup skills. 

During the demonstration, Khan interacted with the audience, addressing queries related to skincare problems such as acne, pigmentation, and blemishes. She provided practical solutions and shared valuable advice on how to tackle these issues effectively. 

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from both faculty members and students of the college, with more than 100 students actively engaging in the live demonstration. 

Principal Professor Sudha Katyal commended the efforts of Khan in imparting valuable knowledge and skills to the students, emphasizing the importance of such workshops in upskilling the student community. The workshop proved to be a valuable learning experience, equipping students with essential skills and knowledge in the field of beauty and cosmetics. Such initiatives play a crucial role in preparing students for future endeavors in the beauty industry and beyond.
