Rohtak, March 15, 2026: A two-day workshop on first aid techniques was organized at the College of Nursing, of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Rajpati, who lit the ceremonial lamp. She emphasized that knowledge of first aid is absolutely essential for every healthcare professional, as timely treatment administered during an emergency situation can save a life.
Prof. Kiran Kaur said that the objective of this workshop was to raise awareness among healthcare professionals regarding the importance of first aid during emergency situations.
Prof. Sunita Devi noted that during the workshop, first-semester B.Sc. Nursing students gained detailed knowledge regarding various types of bandaging, CPR, wound care, and the administration of first aid in emergencies. The students practiced various bandaging techniques, CPR, and other procedures through practical demonstrations. Staff members of the Nursing College were present on the occasion.
