Workshop on energy efficiency in buildings on Feb 25

Ludhiana: PEDA in association with Bureau of Energy Efficiency is organizing a Workshop on `Energy Efficiency in Buildings’ on 25th February 2020 in PEDA Office, Chandigarh. 

The objective of this workshop is to discuss energy efficiency in commercial buildings, residential buildings & healthcare facilities. 

Around 100 professionals from stakeholders including Engineers, Architects, Consultants, Builders, Govt. Officers and exhibitors of energy efficient building materials / products will be participating in this Workshop. 
There will be deliberations on implementation of ECBC in Commercial & Residential Buildings and also energy efficiency in hospital buildings. 

The experts will make presentations on scope, challenges, solutions & best practices of energy efficiency in building sector. There is no fee for participation. 

Welcome address will be given by Chief Executive Officer, PEDA and opening remarks will be given by Chairman, PEDA.

Technical Session- 1 will be chaired by Ar Sapna, Chief Architect, Department of Architecture, Punjab and Co-Chaired by Ar Surinder Bahga, Chairman GEM Chandigarh Chapter. Saurabh Diddi, Director, BEE, will speak on the topic 'Implementation of ECBC 2017 in States', Money Khanna, PE (EC), PEDA on the topic 'Initiatives by PEDA on ECBC', Vikash Ranjan, GIZ on the topic ‘Introduction on ECBC for Residential Buildings’, Ar Sanjay Goel, Chairman, IIA Punjab on the topic 'Scope of Buildings in Smart Cities', Anurag Bajpai, M/s GreenTree on the topic ‘Design Case of NZEB’, and  Nitin Bhatt, EESL will speak on the topic 'Air Conditioning in Energy Efficient Buildings'.

Technical Session – II will be Chaired by V.K. Chopra, Chief Engineer, Department of PWD (B&R) Electrical and Co-Chaired by P.S. Saini, Superintending Hospital Engineer, PGIMER. SHE, PGIMER Chandigarh will cover the topic 'Case Study on PGI Hospital', Chief Engineer, Fortis Hospital 'Case Study on Fortis Hospital', Chief Engineer, Max Hospital 'Case Study of Max Hospital', Kushagra Juneja, M/s D2O ‘Tips on Hospital's Energy Efficiency'.
