Workshop on Cybercrime Prevention

Jalandhar, October 7, 2022: Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of the Vasal Educational Society organized a one-day workshop for students, Parents and Teachers on “Cyber Crime Awareness” on 6th October. 

Cybercrime has grown exponentially and therefore, the workshop aimed at guiding the students to use technology in a constructive way and report any crime or fraudulent activities to the authority. Guest of honour, Dr. Rakshit Tandon who is a cybercrime expert, addressed the august gathering and stressed on various aspects of cybercrime and preventive measures to avoid becoming a victim of cyber fraud. In the workshop, students’ parents and teachers were guided to report a complain.
 
The Principal, S. Chauhan acknowledged the fact that the students need to be aware of the cybercrime taking place around them. She laid emphasis that the workshop is also for the parents who are raising their kids in this age Cyber Revolution and apart from other responsibilities they need to check and guide their kids too.

The President of Vasal Education Society, K K Vasal, The Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President Mrs. Ena Vasal, The CEO Raghav Vasal and The Director, Aditi Vasal highlighted that Cyber grooming is a threat and exposes the kids to hackers. Therefore, they laid on the safety measures to be taken while working on the internet. The workshop was very enlightening and interactive. They felt contented after attending this rewarding workshop.
