Workshop on Catch a Big Idea

Jalandhar: The Department of Design of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a workshop on Catch a Big Idea. Mr. Budi Loonen, Senior Art Director at No Tomato advertising firm, Netherlands was the Resource Person of the day who inspired the students to design a product which will be helpful to prevent the spread of COVID-19. 16 groups from Department of Design presented their unique products. Out of which 3 were selected as winners which are as under:
1.    Tanavpreet Batra & Chandni Bahri of BD Sem 7th designed skates with vacuum and sanitizers.
2.    Harshita Chawla of BD Sem 5th designed sanitized tables.
3.    Suhani Dhwan & Bhavya Aggarwal of BD Sem 5th designed glove dispenser.

Mr. Budi Loonen appreciated the efforts and ideas of other students as well. He particularly appreciated sanitized shoe machine, lamp purifiers and sensor belts.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra awarded the students with certificates and appreciated their enthusiasm and spirit they have shown during this workshop. She acknowledged the efforts of Ms. Rajni Gupta and Ms. Rajni Kumar for successfully organizing this workshop.
