Workshop on Art and Craft held in Doaba College

Jalandhar, October 5, 2021: Department of Education of Doaba College organized a Workshop on Art and Craft. Mr. Raju and Mr. Nek Chand , Rajasthan acted as resource persons .  They were cordially welcomed by Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari ,  Dr. Avinash Chander, Head, faculty members and 100  students. Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari said that this workshop is especially relevant for the students of BA B Ed and B Sc B Ed classes because they are supposed to prepare lesson plans, files, journals, models, charts as a part of their course work. The recourse person Mr. Raju demonstrated his art by making various objects and decorative material like flowers, garlands, peacocks, pigeons etc. with the help of coloured papers and newspapers. The resource persons also motivated the students to make such decorative material themselves. The workshop was much appreciated by the faculty and students of the department.
