Ivy World School, Jalandhar, successfully conducted an engaging four-day Workshop on American Conversational English, led by Hiera Fathman, an accomplished Instructor of Political Science and Theatre at Albion College, Michigan. Jalandhar, November 20, 2025: Ivy World School, Jalandhar, successfully conducted an engaging four-day Workshop on American Conversational English, led by Hiera Fathman, an accomplished Instructor of Political Science and Theatre at Albion College, Michigan. The workshop was attended by more than one hundred students and provided them with valuable insights into effective communication and conversational fluency.
Currently serving as an Access USA Global Scholar Instructor in India, Fathman brings extensive experience in Leadership, Public Presentation, Advanced Conversational English, and Acting Methodology. The workshop included interactive speaking activities, lively language games, and role-play exercises that helped students practise real conversational situations with ease.
Students enjoyed participating in these games, which were specially designed to simplify the technical aspects of the language such as sentence flow, word stress, tone and everyday expressions. Through these playful yet purposeful activities, children learned how to communicate more clearly and confidently. Teachers and facilitators could visibly notice a positive improvement in the students’ speech and comfort level while interacting in English.
The workshop reflects Ivy World School’s commitment to providing global learning experiences and strengthening communication skills among its learners.
