A workshop on Mindfulness for Authentic Happiness was organized under the joint aegis of the Department of Psychology and Happitude Laboratory of MDU with the aim of introducing the techniques of mindfulness for achieving mental health, self-awareness and true happiness.

Rohtak, May 23, 2025: A workshop on Mindfulness for Authentic Happiness was organized under the joint aegis of the Department of Psychology and Happitude Laboratory of MDU with the aim of introducing the techniques of mindfulness for achieving mental health, self-awareness and true happiness.

 

Dr. Aparna Batra, eminent academician and experienced mindfulness trainer, Department of English, Adarsh Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Bhiwani, attended the workshop as the keynote speaker. In her address, Dr. Aparna Batra focused on developing real happiness. She discussed the teachings of Indian knowledge systems - from Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita to Buddhist Vipassana.

 

The concept note of the workshop was presented by the workshop coordinator and HOD Psychology, Prof. Anjali Malik. Workshop coordinator Prof. Deepti Hooda gave the welcome address and introduced the resource person. The program was conducted by research scholar Pratigya. Faculty members, research scholars, students and varsity staff participated in this workshop.
