Workshop on improving employability held

Chandigarh, November 15, 2018: An Employability Enhancer Programme was held at Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45B, here, under the capacity-building initiative of RUSA, (Rashtriya Ucchatar Shiksha Abhiyaan).

The workshop was conducted by Madhu Malini, a wellness coach, and behavioral trainer from Soul-Search. The workshop, attended by around 100 students, was inaugurated by Principal, Dr Jaspal Kaur. Applauding the organising of this personality development programme, Dr Jaspal highlighted the need for such skill building measures.

The workshop consisted of various fun-filled activities, mock interviews, role plays, games, writing exercises, and extempore speaking to enhance the employability of the students by preparing them for placements, and to increase their overall confidence for future. The students participated enthusiastically, and gained a lot by embracing their fears and becoming aware of their strengths. Dr Ila Rathor, the organizer, said that this was one of the numerous such activities that Dev Samaj College for Women organizes for the all-round development of the students.
