Workshop on Chinese food and airport etiquette
The workshop marked its glory as the participants were given hands on experience Jalandhar, July 22, 2019: Department of Hotel Management at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan campus organized a one-day workshop cum demonstration for the aspiring youth who are keened to make their career in the field of hospitality. The event was hosted by the CT Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology where the faculty members & participants exhibited their skills acquired during their course work. The workshop marked its glory as the participants were given hands on experience in 10 Chinese products namely fried rice, manchurian, noodles, spring rolls and many more by the faculty. Along with that, students were given a virtual tour of the airbus and acquainted them with airport etiquette. Dr. Bharat Kapoor, Director Hospitality, CTIHM said that the workshop was crafted in order to engage the students for the productive activities. He also added that such workshops and interactive sessions give a practical exposure to students and help them when they step out to choose their career path. Dr Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director expressed her gratitude towards the officials and shared that such events are extremely important and it should be on the regular basis.
