Work harder and pursue career in the field of your choice: VC Prof. Sudesh

Khanpur Kalan, March 1, 2024: Girls should work harder to pursue higher education and make a career in the field of their choice. To achieve the goal of women empowerment, self-reliance by education is the need of the hour. Vice Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya (BPSMV) Prof. Sudesh said this today. She was interacting with the academics and sports achievers of BPS Mahila Polytechnic.

During the interaction with girl students, VC Prof. Sudesh inquired about their higher education goals and career choices. This interaction program was organized in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology. VC Prof Sudesh, motivated the girl students to take advantage of various schemes launched by Central and State Governments to promote women empowerment and self-employment. She also discussed the placement plans for students with department heads and faculty members.

Polytechnic students took an educational tour of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology Department and Fashion Technology Department. They were informed about the library, laboratory and other facilities available in the departments. Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Prof. Vijay Nehra, Controller of Examinations Dr. Sandeep Dahiya, Principal of Polytechnic Kiran Jindal along with Head of the Department, faculty members and students were present on this occasion.
