Over the past 25 years, the chapter has evolved into one of FLO’s largest and most influential chapters, with a vibrant community of over 1,400 members representing diverse professions and industries. Guided by the leadership of 25 FLO Chairpersons and 21 YFLO Chairpersons, the organization has continuously expanded its reach and impact.
FLO Industrial Park is a pioneering women-led industrial ecosystem established by FLO Hyderabad, spanning over 50 acres at Sultanpur. Home to 25+ women-owned manufacturing units, the park has mobilized over ₹250 crore in investments, generated 1,500+ jobs, and represents diverse sectors including electronics, food processing, medical devices, engineering, and automation. With an annual turnover of approximately ₹400 crore, it stands as a landmark initiative showcasing the power of women-led entrepreneurship and industrial growth.
Over the past 25 years, FLO Hyderabad has translated its vision of women’s empowerment into measurable impact across communities. He said that FLO Hyderabad’s Silver Jubilee was not merely a celebration of an organization, but a celebration of its contribution to the community, society, the State, and the nation at large.
Reflecting on the chapter’s remarkable journey from a small beginning to a vibrant network of over 1,400 members, he commended the dedication and perseverance of its members
The Governor emphasized that the empowerment of women has a multiplier effect on society.
When a woman is empowered, not only does her family progress, but the entire community around her progresses. Women’s empowerment is essential for building a stronger and more prosperous nation,” he remarked.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for the country, the Governor said that the Prime Minister has consistently championed women’s empowerment and inclusive development. He noted that greater participation of women in governance and public life would play a transformative role in shaping India’s future.
Referring to the ongoing national discourse on women’s representation in legislatures, the Governor observed that considerable discussion is taking place ahead of the forthcoming Parliament session regarding the implementation of the Women’s Reservation legislation. He recalled the disappointment felt by many when the measure could not be advanced earlier.
The Prime Minister had then assured the women of the nation that while the required numbers were not available at that time, the commitment to greater representation of women remained unwavering. He promised that the effort would continue, and that the government would return to fulfil that commitment. The successful implementation of the legislation will be a transformative step, strengthening women’s participation in governance and shaping the future of the nation, the Governor said.
The Governor also highlighted the success of transformative initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, recalling that while the scheme initially faced skepticism, it went on to become a globally acclaimed financial inclusion programme, benefiting millions of citizens.
Appreciating FLO Hyderabad’s efforts in preserving India’s traditional crafts and supporting artisan communities, he said that such initiatives not only protect cultural heritage but also create sustainable livelihoods for thousands of artisans and craftspersons.
The Governor congratulated FLO Hyderabad for its contributions over the last 25 years.

Today, that belief lives in every entrepreneur who has found her voice, every woman who has shaped her own identity, and every young girl who now sees a future within reach. The next twenty-five years must be about creating wider opportunities, bringing more women to the helm of leadership, and redefining what women can achieve.”
