Women leaders across fields honoured at 4TH WoW Awards in YES

Ludhiana, March 16, 2026: DCM Young Entrepreneurs School (DCM YES) hosted the 4th edition of the Wonderful Outstanding Women (WoW) Awards, organised by Dass Foundation in association with FICCI FLO Ludhiana and Star Moms Club, powered by Fomerah Greens. The prestigious event celebrated the remarkable achievements and contributions of women across diverse fields and brought together distinguished leaders, professionals, and community members for an inspiring evening dedicated to women empowerment and excellence. The awards recognized outstanding women across 11 distinguished categories, including Entrepreneurship & Start-up Excellence, Arts, Culture & Heritage, Administration, Media & Governance, Education, Mentorship & Life Coaching, along with Special Recognition Awards and several other categories.
The ceremony began with a formal welcome of the Chief Guest, Inderjit Kaur, Mayor of Ludhiana, along with Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM YES; Shweta Jindal and other eminent dignitaries present at the event. The welcome was followed by a ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising positivity, knowledge, and the spirit of empowerment that the awards aim to promote.
The awards received over 100 nominations from inspiring women across 11 categories, out of which 51 outstanding women were honoured for their exceptional achievements and contributions to society.
Among the distinguished guests present were Simmi Pashan Chopra, Chairperson of the Punjab State Social Welfare Board; Gunjit Ruchi Bawa, Vice Chairperson of the Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights; Ajinderpal Kaur, Member of the Punjab State Women Commission; Dr. Pooja Majotra, Chief Medical Officer; Rashi Aggarwal, Vice President, Mahila Morcha Punjab; Radhika Gupta, former chairperson of FICCI FLO; Mridula Jain, Chairperson of Shingora Textiles ; Amita Dahiya, Principal of Tagore Public School and Darshan Lal Baweja, MD, Fomerah Greens .
A key highlight of the evening was a thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Power, Purpose & Possibility: Conversations with Women Who Inspire.  Moderated by Shweta Jindal, Chairperson, FICCI FLO Ludhiana, the panel brought together inspiring women leaders including Inderjit Kaur (Hon’ble Mayor, Ludhiana), Akshita Khanna (Co-Founder, Orika Spices), Neetu Jain (Life Coach), and Dr. Vanie Sarda Thapar (Gynaecologist). The panelists shared their journeys, experiences, and perspectives on leadership, purpose, and the opportunities available for women in today’s evolving world.
