Tarn Taran, November 10, 2025: Ahead of the Tarn Taran by-election, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann appealed to the women voters of the constituency to stand with the Aam Aadmi Party, a party that has given women true respect, representation, and a powerful platform in politics and governance.
She said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Punjab has witnessed historic steps for women’s empowerment, from free bus travel for women, ensuring mobility and safety, to ₹693 crore financial assistance to over 6.65 lakh widows and destitute women, restoring dignity and independence. “These are not promises, these are actions that have transformed lives,” she said.
“AAP is the only party that sees women not as voters, but as equal partners in building the future. From villages to the Vidhan Sabha, women now have a respected voice,” she said.
Appealing to women voters, she urged, “Tomorrow, when you go to vote, think about your daughters, your safety, and your rights. Vote for a government that believes in equality and empowerment, vote for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu and the vision of a just, progressive Punjab.”
