Mumbai, August 12, 2026: The freedom we celebrate today is the legacy of countless acts of courage - some won on the battlefield, others in the corridors of army hospitals, where the mission is to save every soldier who fights for the nation. This Independence Day, COLORS celebrates the unsung bravery of army doctors with ‘108 Base Hospital – Uri’ - the first-ever army hospital series and a one-of-its-kind finite series. Continuing its legacy of bringing compelling and unconventional narratives to audiences, COLORS turns the spotlight on a battlefield where the weapons are Seva, Saahas and Samarpan for the doctors. Set in an Indian Army base hospital in Uri, the show follows the extraordinary doctors, nurses and medical personnel who selflessly fights a war against time, giving wounded soldiers another chance to return to the frontlines and to their families. Produced by the Epic Company and co-produced by A-Game Entertainment, the show features Erica Fernandes as Dr. Major Naina, Gashmeer Mahajani as Dr. Major Aniruddh and Nikkhil Khurana as Major Sameer Dixit, Ayoshi Talukdar as Dr. Captain Mili Banerjee, Hiten Tejwani as Dr. COl Suryakant Thakur and Smita Bansal as Lt COl principal Matron Kavita Jha, ‘108 Base Hospital – Uri’ premieres on 15th August and thereafter airs Saturday-Sunday at 8:00 PM only on COLORS and JioHotstar.

At the heart of 108 Base Hospital – Uri is Dr. Major Naina, played by Erica Fernandes - a fierce, unflinching Army doctor who remains calm under pressure as she treats every patient with unwavering commitment and without prejudice. Standing alongside her is Dr. Major Aniruddh, portrayed by Gashmeer Mahajani, whose compassion is matched by his clinical precision and steadfast sense of duty. While their past has left behind unresolved differences, their commitment to their profession remains stronger than any personal conflict. Adding another dimension to the story is Major Sameer Dixit, played by Nikkhil Khurana, known as Tiger among his peers and respected for his unmatched courage on the battlefield. As a soldier accustomed to facing danger head-on, Sameer brings the same grit and determination to every mission. Drawn to Naina’s intelligence and humility, Sameer finds himself developing feelings for her, creating an intriguing emotional dynamic between the three as their personal equations unfold. But when duty calls, every disagreement, every emotion and every personal battle take a back seat, as they come together with one unwavering mission to save the lives of the soldiers.
