With efforts of Bharat Bhushan Ashu, problem of water logging on Panj Peer Road resolved

Ludhiana: With the efforts of Punjab Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, the encroachments on the seasonal rain drain near Panj Peer Road in ward number 78 have been removed, resulting in a solution to water logging on the main Panj Peer Road. 

Accompanied by Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu, senior Congress leader Sunil Kapoor, Inderjit Singh Indi and several other senior officials, Ashu visited the area.

He informed that due to encroachments by some dairy owners on the seasonal rain drain, due to which the rain water was not able to end up in Budha Nullah, resulting in water logging on Panj Peer Road. He informed that the encroachments have been removed with the efforts of officials from Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, Irrigation & Drainage departments.

Bharat Bhushan Ashu informed that close to 15000 residents of Mandeep Nagar, New Surya Vihar, Mehar Singh Colony, Chand Colony, Radhe Sham Colony, Corporation Colony, Mayur Vihar, Sukhdev Enclave, Amrit Colony, Haibowal Dairy Complex Block B besides several others would be directly benefitted.

Earlier, the Cabinet Minister held a series of meetings with the residents of B Block Rajguru Nagar, Goodwill park in B block of Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, besides other areas of the city. He assured the residents that all their issues would be resolved on priority basis.
